Tully, in North Queensland, was torn apart by cyclone Yasi in 2011. Located about 140 km south of Cairns and 2 hours north of Townsville it is the launching pad for the famous Tully White Water Rafting adventures that adrenalin junkies travel far and wide to experience!
Tully has been labelled the 'wettest town in Australia' and a giant gumboot was erected in the town to pay tribute to this. Visitors travelling through Tully take advantage of the Tully Gorge walking tracks as well as tour the historical Sugar mill.
As the owner of Doittour.com I am lucky enough to experience some of Australia's finest tours. Raging Thunder recently took me out for a Tully extreme adventure tour. It was a tour that I will remember forever. Contact our team on 1300654002 or info@doittour.com
