What shall I do in Sydney?

People often ask me... "so if you only had a couple of days in Sydney, what would you do?"

The answer is simple, see the icons from the air, land and sea!

The most famous three icons that need to be on your hit list are: Sydney Harbour Bridge (as pictured), Sydney Opera House and then of course Bondi Beach.

In moving between these locations I recommend eating your way around some of the local restaurants and of course dropping into a bar or two for a cooling beverage.

Top things to do include: Jet Boat Harbour Rides, Skydiving, Kayak Paddle, Wine Tour in the Hunter Valley, Learn to surf or head out to the Blue Mountains for a hike or an abseil and canyon experience!

Do It Tour in Melbourne... a great way to spend 48 hours!

On a personal note... a recent business trip to Melbourne was a whirlwind of excitement and a whole lack of sleep that I will cherish for some time!
How much do you think I could fit into 48 hours?

A 2 day conference including Q and A session with Sir Richard Branson, 7 restaurant meals, a great night out with 3 very special friends, drank at 8 bars, a tram ride, way too many taxi's, a media frenzied protest blocking our path, rain and more rain, a quick visual on a couple of local treasures and then a return flight home, exhausted.

Just in case you have more than 48 hours and a little less on your schedule, I recommend the following experiences: Shopping Outlet Tour, Pier Bar under the Southbank foot bridge, Penguins at Phillip Island, Ginger Boys restaurant, Great Ocean Road tour, Tramcar restaurant and a day in the Yarra Valley wineries!
