Great Ocean Road - an Aussie icon not to be missed!

If you are planning to visit Australia you really cannot afford to miss Australia's 243km of coastline known as the Great Ocean Road. This magnificent road was actually constructed as a war memorial (WW I) by service men. The Australian National Heritage Listed road is open to the public and used as a regular transit path but tours run daily for those visiting the area.
Tours departing Melbourne daily visit the major icons along the Great Ocean Road such as Bells Beach, Memorial Arch, Lorne and Angelsea, Otways Rainforest, Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge and London Bridge. Many tours include a BBQ or Restaurant lunch as well as hotel pickup and drop-off. Prices start from $80 - $86 on http://www.doittour.com/ .

Overnight tours (2 or 3 days) include stopover at the Grampians and can return to Melbourne or travel through to Adelaide. Prices from $173 on http://www.doittour.com/
