Skydiving Brisbane and surrounds!

If you are keen to try tandem skydiving Brisbane and you are looking in the Brisbane area then there are several options available to you. Tandem skydiving is open to anyone over the age of twelve and no previous experience is required. You will be harnessed to a tandem master who will operate your parachute and may even be your handycam photographer if you have requested a multimedia package.
The very popular beach landing in Brisbane is at Redcliffe on the north side and lands on beautiful Sutton or surrounding beaches. This jump zone allows you to skydive from up to 14000 feet with a whopping 60 seconds of freefall time and approximately 5 minutes of gliding once the parachute opens. Skydiving Redcliffe offers free inner city transfers.

West of Brisbane city off the Warrego Highway you will find a jump zone with it's own private airstrip and the opportunity for the inexperienced to perform a 'solo' skydive without any certification. This solo jump is an adrenalin rush like no other you will not be strapped to a tandem instructor. The parachute is fitted with an automatic shute and a communication system will allow you to be talked through the landing. Solo jumps are from a lower height and therefore include glide time but limited free-fall.

To the North of Brisbane the next jump zone is Bribie Island. Skydiving Bribie Island lands on the beach with free fall views from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast. You can jump from up to 14000 feet and DVD and photo packages are available.

If a beach landing skydive is on your bucket list then you may also want to consider the Sunshine Coast on the North or Kirra Beach near the Gold Coast. The Coolum beach skydiving on the Sunshine Coast offers a 10000 feet or 14000 feet option and even offers a sunrise beach skydive where you can see the sun rise twice in one morning. The Gold Coast skydiving jump zone is at Kirra Beach where a 12000 feet skydive is the maximum and fly's out from an international airport.

Skydiving is a memory that lasts forever

This may just be your view... when you are about to skydive from 14000ft!       With jump zones in Cairns, Rainbow Beach, Hervey Bay, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Coffs Harbour, Sydney, Melbourne, Yarra Valley, Great Ocean Road or Adelaide you are sure to find a location that will best suit you.  Some jump zones offer beach landings, others can take several of your mates up to skydive on the same plane. Many jump zones can jump as high as 14000ft and all jump zones offer multimedia package options such as DVD and photos.  Your tandem skydiving experience does not require any previous experience and includes all training prior to your jump. You would generally need to leave around 2 - 4 hours for a skydive experience.
Skydives have for a long time been a very popular gift for special occasions such as 18th birthdays but have more recently become affordable for locals and travellers to a region. Skydiving is a fabulous way to take in the local sites from above!
